What to Expect from Worship Services We understand that it can be hard to attend a new church and to not know what you might expect. Lets face it, most of us have been there at least a couple times. We have tried to break it down into a few categories that most people may have concerns about when coming to services as a new visitor. What Should I Wear? We encourage you to wear whatever you feel is comfortable or appropriate. People wear their jeans and t-shirts or suits depending on their personal preferences and we encourage everyone to be comfortable and participate. Arrival We recommend approximately ten minutes early to get acquainted and settled in. Your welcome to come earlier if you choose. Holy Communion We encourage anyone who understands the symbolic importance of this sacrament to participate. Religious affiliation is not highly important to us. We do not discourage people from participating who would like to come to the table. Children & Worship Services We encourage all people to attend worship including children. We want to foster a family environment and believe children learn from the worship services too. We do have some toys and puzzles and such for children and parents who are interested. These items do help many times to encourage good behavior during the service. Don't forget to stay for Sunday School! |
